Job Description: The job of Stryper Street Team President is un-paid, voluntary, time consuming, and will be a lot of hard work with little tangible reward. Your reward will be the satisfaction that comes in knowing that you are helping your favorite band. The position will last for the term of one year. The position is not to be taken lightly as it is viewed as one of the top marketing positions in the Stryper camp. The main duties include but are not limited to the following: Being a liaison between Deep South Entertainment (Stryper’s Management) and the Stryper Street Team members throughout the world.

  • Monitoring Stryper's schedule, and notifying Deep South well in advance with names/addresses that will need flyers or press releases to promote upcoming events (i.e. record releases, tour dates, in-store appearances, etc.) Deep South will then physically mail these materials.

  • Maintaining the Street Team Database, keeping information current, deleting those who would like to be removed, welcoming those who join (an automatic e-mail will do that), and communicating with the street team members directly via email at least once per month.

  • Handling all Street Team Member's Questions, Comments, or Issues

  • Ensuring that the Street Team Members are updated about how they can help promote Stryper. (i.e. When Stryper is coming to their area, let members know they will be getting flyers to put up around their town, helping members through researching finding new places in their market to promote Stryper).

  • Implement, Create, Facilitate Activities for Street Team members to connect with one another at shows in their cities.

  • By receiving regular Internet updates from Street Team members, you will notify Deep South Entertainment and the Stryper.com webmasters of new and exciting developments, articles, or stories about Stryper that appear around the Internet.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a well-organized, trustworthy individual. You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

  • Must feel comfortable working in databases and websites

  • Must work well with others and have a strong desire to further Stryper's career

  • Must have adequate time to commit yourself to this job, and ensure that the requirements are being met.

  • Must own at least one piece of yellow and black striped clothing. :-)

  • At some point in your life, you must have, on 3 separate occasions, when someone spoke the phrase "Speak of the Devil," you would immediately follow that with "He's no friend of mine".... Okay, enough kidding around. You get the point. Dedicated, life-long fans, are best suited for this position.
